For more than five decades, Saulsbury has built a strong repeat customer base through our successful execution of projects and our collaborative approach to business which includes providing excellent construction services. Our ability to take care of the business and project needs of our clients has resulted in building lasting customer relationships. This has been a major component of the ultimate success of our company. Working jointly with our customers, we make the commitment that their projects are performed safely, are cost-effective, and completed on time with the highest quality.
Saulsbury provides EPC services on many of our projects; however, much of our work is based on a construction-only scope of work. From new greenfield facilities to brownfield expansions, we are licensed to provide our services throughout most of the U.S. for the various industries that we serve. Our range of project sizes varies from small installations to projects that exceed hundreds of millions of dollars. The duration of projects can range from days to years of construction for large complex projects.
Saulsbury is often a single-source provider with the expertise to consistently complete nearly 96 percent of the construction scope with our direct hire labor forces. Having the ability to self-perform most of the on-site work allows us to be cost-competitive and have full control and responsibility for the outcome of our projects. Our project team leaders perform well with control over cost, quality, safety, and the schedule of each project resulting in a predictable and successful outcome for our clients. We are also able to complete single discipline areas of scope for our clients on projects when requested. Our strong planning abilities, collaborative approach, and consistent site leadership are key components to delivering successful projects when multiple contractors are utilized.
Our typical direct-hire scope of service includes the following:
- Project management and site management
- Site maintenance – security, receiving/warehousing, dewatering, dust control, snow removal, etc.
- Excavation and backfill
- Concrete and rebar
- Structural steel fabrication and erection
- Equipment setting and grouting
- Pipe fabrication and installation
- Electrical installation – high, medium, and low voltage
